A superb ball striker if not perfect in English, Choi shot a wonderful 67 on the Memorial Course yesterday to win. This was was the biggest final-round comeback on the PGA Tour this season. His putt for par on the 16th really nailed it down as the tough finishing holes finished off his competitors.
The 37-year-old South Korean broke the language barrier shortly after shattering par, shooting a 7-under 65 to make up a five-stroke deficit to capture the Memorial by a stroke over Ryan Moore.
